중국, 국가 블록체인 ‘보안’ 테스트 기구 출범

중국에서 국가 공식 블록체인 보안 테스트 기관이 설립됐다. 중국의 보안 기술을 총괄하는 국가인터넷응급센터가 세웠다.

12일 중국 봉황망 등에 따르면 국가인터넷금융보안기술전문가위원회는 인터넷응급센터와 창사경제개발구가 중국 첫 ‘블록체인 보안기술 검측센터’를 공동으로 설립했다고 발표했다.

블록체인 기술 발전과 애플리케이션 보급에 따라 관련 정책 법규를 제정하고 블록체인 기술 및 애플리케이션 보안 문제를 추적할 권위있는 조직이 필요하다는 판단하에 세워진 센터다. 향후 타 지역에도 설립이 이어질 것으로 보인다.

검측센터가 설립됐다는 것은 블록체인 산업의 보안이 국가 차원의 인터넷 보안 기구의 관여가 시작될만큼 중시되고 있다는 것을 의미한다.

향후 검측센터는 중국의 관련 부처와 협력해 국가인터넷응급센터 등과 공동으로 보안 검측 및 평가 업무를 하게 된다. 블록체인 기초 기술과 애플리케이션 등에 걸쳐 전반적인 보안 연구를 하게된다.

이같은 움직임은 중국 정부가 블록체인 분야에서 체계적인 검측 및 테스트를 실시해 관련 응용과 산업화를 진작시키기 위한 정책 일환이다.

중국 국가인터넷응급센터는 블록체인 국제 표준 제정 활동도 활발히 하고 있다. 지난 9월 국가인터넷응급센터가 주도한 ‘블록체인에 기반한 판권 관리 보안 요구’ 국제 표준이 국제통신연맹 통신표준국의 보안연구조직에서 입항 승인됐다.

국가인터넷응급센터는 이미 ‘분산식 장부기술 보안 시스템 구조’, ‘분산식 장부 기술에 기반한 보안 서비스’ 등 두개 항의 ITU-T 국제표준 편집 초안 작업에 참여하고 있다.
