부동산블록체인연구소(소장 김철)는 16일 중국 IT(정보통신) 유통회사인 디신퉁(迪信通‧Digital Telecom Co. Ltd Korea)과 협력 파트너인 디지털화폐연구원(KDC) 등과 함께 부동산 블록체인 기술을 통한 신사업 추진을 내용으로 한 업무협약을 체결했다.

그 첫 사업으로 중국 IT(정보통신기술) 기반 거대 유통업체인 디신퉁이 세계 가상화폐 첨두시장인 한국 블록체인 시장에 진출한다.

이들 회사는 또한 내달 19일부터 3일간 서울 코엑스A홀에서 동시에 열리는 국제 부동산 박람회 ‘리얼티 엑스포 코리아 2018’와 세계 최초로 개최되는 ‘부동산 블록체인 엑스포 2018’을 한.중 공동으로 주관하면서 추진하고 있는 부동산 관련 블록체인 및 신사업을 공개하기로 했다.

디신퉁 코리아 장펑 CEO(최고경영자)는 “최근 부동산산업 관련 블록체인 신기술 경쟁이 가열되면서 투자자들의 관심도 높아지고 있는 상황에서 한국경제신문이 기획한 ‘부동산 블록체인 엑스포’는 시기적으로 매우 적절하다”며 “디신퉁 그룹은 중국 현지의 영업망과 첨단 블록체인 기술을 기반을 활용해서 한‧중 부동산 비즈니스 가교역할에 나설 것”이라고 덧붙였다.

KDC 황윤롱 CEO는 “한국경제신문이 개최하는 올해 첫 부동산 블록체인 엑스포는 한‧중간 블록체인 공동사업 활성화에도 큰 도움이 될 것”이라며 “KDC는 부동산블록체인연구소 및 한경부동산연구소와도 협력 관계를 유지하면서 건강한 블록체인 생태계 조성에 적극 나설 계획“이라고 밝혔다.

김철 부동산블록체인연구소장은 “박람회 참가 이외에도 부동산 관련 신규 사업의 기획‧광고‧홍보‧마케팅 등에서도 긴밀히 협력하겠다”고 설명했다.

이날 협약식에는 김철 부동산블록체인연구소장 장평 디신퉁 코리아(Digital Telecom Co.,Ltd Korea) 대표, 황윤롱 ㈜디지털화폐연구원 대표가 참석했다.

디신퉁 코리아(Digital Telecom Co.,Ltd Korea)는 홍콩에 본사를 둔 중국 최대 휴대폰 유통회사인 디신퉁 그룹의 한국 자회사다. 국내에서는 최근 상장사 DST로봇을 인수했고, 삼부토건에도 투자해서 주요 주주로 부상했다.

디신퉁 그룹은 중국 현지에 1만여 개의 휴대폰 매장을 운영하고 있는 거대 IT관련 유통회사다. 디지털화폐연구원(KDC)은 한‧중 양국의 기관 및 일반 투자자를 대상으로 대규모 블록체인 관련 포럼 및 투자설명회 한국과 중국 주요도시에서 개최하고 있다.
